Recently, Enya Hughes, daughter of Teneo Managing Director Mark Hughes, took part in the World’s Greatest Shave at Notre Dame College Bells Creek in support of the Leukaemia Foundation. Her decision to participate followed a deeply personal challenge for the Hughes family, with her sister Iilah recently beginning treatment for blood cancer.

What followed was an extraordinary display of courage, compassion and community support.

Through the generosity of family, friends, colleagues and the broader community, Enya’s fundraiser raised $17,882 and was ranked second in Queensland. Teneo was proud to stand behind Enya’s efforts by matching every dollar raised, extending the impact of her commitment and helping contribute to a cause that supports families across Australia.

Funds raised through the World’s Greatest Shave help the Leukaemia Foundation provide critical blood cancer support and research. This includes practical and emotional support for patients and families, as well as investment in research and access to clinical trials that may provide additional treatment pathways for eligible patients.

For Teneo, this initiative reflects something bigger than business.

It reflects the importance of standing behind our people, supporting families during difficult times, and contributing to work that has real and lasting impact.
