As a direct result of our business success and growth potential over the last three years, Teneo has expanded their leadership team with the appointment of John Ferguson as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). John is an experienced leader with an extensive background in the development and successful delivery of complex major infrastructure projects in the energy, resources and water sectors and is a fantastic addition to the team.

John has been on the Teneo advisory board for several years and has been a trusted mentor right from the start when we first set up the business. I will continue in my role as Managing Director and Graham McManmon as Group General Manager, but the day to day operations will now be the direct responsibility of John”, said Michael Walsh.
John’s diverse 35+ year career has encompassed a wide variety of senior corporate, project delivery and operational leadership roles in major global organisations including British Gas (Shell) and Origin Energy.
John has extensive international major projects experience, in-depth professional knowledge and strong interpersonal skills enabling the identification of solutions, resolution of challenges and ability to inspire others to deliver successful business and personal development outcomes.
John’s role as CEO will encompass leadership and management oversight across the company with responsibility for all day to day operations. He will lead Teneo to ensure we have an adaptive and resilient organisational capability and capacity that allows us to safely, consistently and reliably deliver projects as planned and with certainty. John will also lead the development and implementation of appropriate longer-term business strategies that realise Teneo’s fullest potential.
