The year that was:
This time last year we all faced great uncertainty and concern as Covid19 engulfed the world and changed our lives. Now, at the completion of FY 21 and reflecting upon an unprecedented year, I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you.
Thank you to our clients, employees (and their families and loved ones), suppliers, partners, and advisers.
Thank you to friends, confidants, peers, and everyone else who has supported, encouraged, and worked with Teneo, particularly in this last 12 months.
Thank you to those who have endorsed Teneo again and again.
It has been a unique and challenging year from which we have grown stronger and better, delivered safely and with certainty – and we could not have done it without your support.
The year ahead:
Teneo is also pleased to announce achievement of some important milestones and new developments in our business:
- Demobilisation activities are now being safely progressed and well underway at Evaporation Pond 6 in Olympic Dam, SA as we near final completion of this 70HA 3-cell evaporation pond for BHP – a project which has involved the installation of 595,000m2 primary HDPE liner, 1.8m bcm of Bulk Excavation and 310,000 ccm of Compacted Clay Liner, delivered safely and on time.
- Teneo will officially open its Perth Office on 1st August 2021. We are very excited by the prospects of this demand-driven, further expansion of our business into WA and look forward to continuing to develop our relationships and deploying our capabilities and expertise, in the West.
- Mobilisation planning and preparatory activities are progressing well in readiness for commencement of our next integrated Lining and Civil scope project, working with a valued Tier 1 mining client in the NT.
At time of writing, we are again working with the effects of the ongoing Covid19 pandemic. Interstate travel restrictions and lockdown in major cities have presented challenges, however our resilient and adaptable workforce have again enabled us to do what we say we will do and enabled us to continue to support our valued clients. To all those who have again extended and adjusted rosters, filled a gap or changed personal plans – thank you.
